Job Title: Data Scientist / Engineer

Location: San Jose, CA (Onsite)

Team Role

As a Data Scientist / Engineer, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, focused on building robust data and ML services for our advertiser sellers. Your work will guide advertisers in optimizing their campaigns by recommending the right inventory, keywords, budgets, and bids, and continuously refining these strategies. This role offers the unique opportunity to work with massive datasets and employ a wide range of data science techniques in a high-potential, high-impact area.

Responsibilities


Collaborate with Applied Researchers, Engineers, Analysts, and cross-functional teams to develop and deliver end-to-end, production-ready solutions.
Design and implement efficient data pipelines to collect, process, and analyze large datasets.
Integrate and deploy machine learning models into production systems.
Conduct data analysis to identify trends, generate insights, interpret experimentation results, and size opportunities within the advertising domain.
Translate complex datasets into understandable and actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Build dashboards to monitor system and business performance and status.


Requirements


BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
Strong understanding of machine learning applications.
Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, Scala, or Java.
Proven experience in solving problems using data science, building practical solutions, and deploying models into production for evaluation.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and derive actionable insights.
Expertise in data mining and segmentation.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) is a plus.
